we are going to WDW apr18-25/2012, my son is a huge star wars fan, I realize we missed out on Star wars weekend, will there still be characters, etc. to see while we are there?

    Hi Kelly!

While there are not Star Wars characters during that time, there are many Star Wars experiences that you can have at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Make sure to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios as soon as they open to be the first in the park and obtain your pass for the Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy. Kids ages 4-12 can learn to use the force from a Jedi Master. You will need to sign-up at the Sounds Dangerous location and obtain a ticket for a scheduled session.

Make sure to ride Star Tours, as it was recently reimagineered and it is fun for every Star Wars fan. The Star Wars shop outside of the attraction is also so much fun! You can build your own lightsaber and check out some really awesome Star Wars gear.

Check out the Disney's Hollywood Studios Character Guide to see the other character meet-n-greets available at this park.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
