We will be at WDW Apr 14th - Apr 22nd of 2012. We are waiting to book our trip, for the free dining. Do yo think the "free dining" plan will be offered during Apr 2012? Is this a good time to travel based on crowd levels? Thank you - love the

Don't wait! You can book your vacation right now, and if a better offer is announced later, you can get that, too. It just takes a simple phone call to change your reservation. The Disney vacation planners arehappy to help you get the best deal for your family!

I really cannot speculate on whether free dining would be offered next April. Typically it has not been offered in the spring, but in 2011 Disney surprised us!

    Here are the dates free dining was offered in 2011: Jan 1 - 5 • Jan 9 - 13 • Jan 21 - Feb 3 • Feb 11 - 17 • Feb 25 - Mar 3 • May 27 - Jun 2 • Aug 19 - Sept 29

If I were you, I would plan on free dining NOT being offered at that time. I say this because March and April are spring break months for most of the country, and crowd levels are higher in Disney. As a general rule, free dining is a special promotion that is offered in the off-season.

You will find some crowds in April because as I said, it is spring break. However, I've traveled in the spring before myself and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't as busy as I'd feared. We found the lines to be quite manageable, and were not unhappy with our travel dates at all.

    Hope that helps!
