Welcome to planDisney! I actually just renewed my
Annual Pass the other day, so I’m happy to help you out!
Depending on your ticket type, you may be able to
upgrade to an Incredipass by paying the difference between the two prices. Sometimes, you’re able to upgrade your pass right on the
My Disney Experience app.
To check to see if your ticket is eligible for an upgrade, click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, then click My Tickets & Passes. Find the ticket you’d like to upgrade, then scroll down a bit to find the button that says Upgrade Pass.
You can also visit a ticket booth at any of the
Disney World theme parks or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, and a Cast Member will be happy to check your eligibility and upgrade it if able.
If your ticket is eligible for an upgrade, make sure you upgrade it by the last date of use or by the ticket expiration date (whichever comes first!). Then, moving forward, your Annual Pass will be good for one year from the date the original park ticket was first used.
It’s good to note that when you upgrade to an Annual Pass, you will need a park reservation for the first theme park you plan to visit each day. So, don’t forget to make those before you get to the park!
