Hello! After many wdw adventures at various resorts, our family has recently purchased an RV and are planning a stay at Fort Wilderness the week of halloween 2011. do you know of any halloween events or trick or treating at FW? Thanks!

Hi Kelly! Congratulations on your RV purchase! Fort Wilderness is awesome, and you and your family will make many precious memories there. Disney moms Whitney and Kay both enjoy RVing at the Fort as well, especially over Hallowe'en. Many of the campers decorate their site, and there is a contest for best decorated campsite. And then there are parades - a golf cart parade, a pet parade and a costume parade. Of course the carts and pets are decked out in costumes too! Activities vary, but I've also heard of pumpkin carving contests, and of course, there's trick or treating to the cabins, tents and trailers.

    Have fun Kelly!
