    I am going to WDC mid-Aug. 09. I just purchased my park tickets, 5 day MYWa base w/Water park options. One adult and one child, 9. I knew the price was going up 8/3, so I bought them 8/2. The price was $500. Am I jumping the gun? Should I have waited?

    Hi Karen,

    Thank you for your question! I think you are a savvy shopper. If I knew I was going to Disney in the future, I would have bought my tickets too. There are some who say you should wait for a package deal to come out, but any package will have the new price increase reflected in it.

    Now you have one main part of your vacation paid for already. You can start looking for resort pricing soon for 2009.
