Is there a way to get to the bus schedule before we get to the resort

Hiya Brenda! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for sending us your vacation planning question. How terrific that your Disney World vacation is coming up soon! I love that you are working on a strategy to hit the ground running... and get the pixie-dusted fun started as soon as you arrive. Atta girl!

Being able to see the Disney Resort's bus times is one of my favorite features of the My Disney Experience app. To answer your question, this information will appear under your resort details as soon as you have checked in, and your reservation is active. You can check in ahead of arrival, either online or inside the app. So you should be able to view that bus schedule the morning you arrive, even before you reach your Disney Resort.

Here's how to find the schedule of Disney bus times to each park from your resort. From the My Disney Experience app's home screen select the "≡" menu icon in the lower right corner, go to Hotel Reservations, then scroll to the bottom and look for the "See Bus Times" tab. For planning purposes, as a general rule of thumb the Disney transportation buses for each park typically swing by the resorts every 20 minutes or so. I do really love the app's bus times feature, though! It helps to see not only the bus arrival time at your resort, but the estimated arrival time to the park destination.

Speaking of fine-tuning schedules, and checking bus arrival times... did you know you can also adjust Lightning Lane and Disney Dining reservation times (pending availability) using the My Disney Experience app? My family tends to use our "Colorado excuse" of being jet-lagged when we're in Orlando... but alas, the reality is we're just a tad lazy when on vacation! So I have used this option to adjust my Lightning Lane selection when we are still riding the bus to the parks and I realize we won't make our reservation window in time. It can be a helpful backup plan when you're running behind.

Brenda, I hope this helps and that you have an absolutely magical time making memories at Walt Disney World! Please visit us again at planDisney if we can assist with any other practically perfect details for your vacation.

    The magic is calling!
