Can the 2 wave phones from the same room, communicate with each other? We plan on allowing our tween to head off on her own from time to time, but wanted to be able to communicate with her.

    Ahoy, Eric!

Your Disney Cruise vacation is just around the corner, and soon you'll be treat-or-tricking around the Grand Lobby Atrium with your favorite Disney Characters in their festive Halloween costumes. Doesn't that sound SPOOK-tacular? I know your crew will have a BOO-tiful time on your Halloween on the High Seas sailing this fall.

As a mom of two teens, I love being able to communicate with them while onboard. Your stateroom will come with two Wave Phones that can be used to call other Wave Phones, any stateroom phone or shipboard phone. There is also the ability to send a text between the two devices. You'll be happy to know they also work on Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, if your sailing includes a stop there.

Eric, you may also want to check out the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your cruise begins. This handy app is available for free download for Apple and Android devices and will be available to you while on the ship's Wi-Fi with no additional charge. My family uses the app in many ways, but our favorite feature is the Onboard Chat with all the fun Disney emoticons! Before my son had his first smartphone, we took an old iPhone that we downloaded the app on so he could use it to message after connecting to the ship's DCL-Guest wireless network.

I'm so glad you cruised over with your question, Eric! Please let us know if we can assist you again.
