Hi there, Sophia!
Thanks for bringing your question all the way across The Pond and
beyond the reef to us here at planDisney!
You’ve reached out at the
practically perfect time, Sophia, because I’m currently returning to a wintry Georgia after a magically sunny stay at
Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, and I've already begun counting down to summer dips in Walt Disney World’s water parks and hotel pools. In fact, my recent floats along
Waikolohe Stream have inspired me to become a frequent visitor of
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon home of its very own lazy river, Castaway Creek.
Speaking of Typhoon Lagoon, Walt Disney World's water parks are currently operating on a rotating basis, and if
past trends hold, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be the sole water park welcoming Guests during your July visit. Of course, it's important to keep in mind that schedules are always subject to change, so I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the
Hours & Events Calendar as your vacation approaches for the most up-to-date information.
Don't forget that Guests who are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel in 2025
can enjoy the open Walt Disney World water park for free on the day of check-in! If it happens to be Typhoon Lagoon, I hope you'll make time to lazily drift along Castaway Creek in my honor.
If you're in need of further assistance as you continue to plan your vacation, Sophia, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to lend a hand (or fin).
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
