Hello, Allison! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My family and I absolutely love our
annual passes to the
Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks! As
Annual Passholders, we opted to add the Water Parks on to our passes, but it is possible to purchase a stand-alone pass just for the Water Parks as well.
The
Water Parks Annual Pass includes year-long access to both
Disney’s Blizzard Beach and
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks. While this pass is the same cost for Guests ages 3 to 9 and for Guests ages 10 and up, children under 3 do not need a pass (or a ticket for any of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks or Water Parks).
Please note that Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks are always subject to seasonal, capacity or weather closures, and each Water Park is refurbished annually. At least one water park experience should be available year-round.
While a Water Park Annual Pass does not include a
MagicBand in its cost, you can use a Walt Disney World Resort MagicBand for Water Park admission and/or for charging purchases to your official
Walt Disney World Resort hotel room’s folio. (My family definitely prefers to use our MagicBands instead of ticket cards when we’re in the Water Parks.) While there is not an Annual Passholder discount available for stand-alone Water Parks Annual Passes, if you are a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, you can use your
Passholder discount for merchandise in the Water Parks shops and for
up to three discounted tickets for family and friends (when you accompany them).
I hope you have the opportunity to visit one or both of the Water Parks on your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Allison! Whether you’re
riding the waves at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, coasting down
Teamboat Springs at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, or enjoying the lazy river experience in either Park, you’re sure to have an awesome time.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Allison. We’re happy to help.
Amy
