Aloha, Linda! Greetings from your neighboring state, Rhode Island! I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney. I love that you're already looking ahead to blue skies and sunshine — it's been pretty chilly around here lately!
You must be so excited about your upcoming visit to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This resort offers the perfect blend of tropical paradise and Disney magic. From the lush, island-inspired surroundings, to the iconic views of Cinderella Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon, every detail is designed to transport you to a Polynesian oasis.
Linda, you'll be glad to hear that the
water-view rooms at the Polynesian come with either a balcony or a patio. There's nothing quite like stepping outside in the morning with a cup of coffee and taking in the gorgeous view — it's such a peaceful and relaxing way to begin your day!
Since you're staying at the Polynesian, I'd highly recommend making a dining reservation at
'Ohana. This family-style restaurant includes a variety of tasty Polynesian-inspired dishes, but my personal favorites are the famous noodles and the 'Ohana Bread Pudding. Be sure to save room for dessert — trust me, you won't want to miss it!
Some of my family's must-dos when staying at the Polynesian include watching the
Electrical Water Pageant as it glides across the Seven Seas Lagoon and enjoying Magic Kingdom's
Happily Ever fireworks from the resort's beach. Here's a planDisney tip: grab a refreshing DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai to enjoy while you're watching — it makes the experience even sweeter!
Don't forget that as a Disney Resort Guest, you're able to purchase and select your
Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your visit. However, if this is a resort-only vacation, you've made an excellent choice — the Polynesian is like a vacation destination all on its own!
Linda, I'm wishing you a truly wonderful visit to the most magical place. Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
Pixie-Dusted Wishes,
Kami
