Hello, are the water taxis between Port Orleans Riverside and Disney Springs ecv accessible for scooters?

Welcome to planDisney, Ashley! Thanks for bringing your very important question to us. Walt Disney World Resort focuses on accessibility and mobility needs so all guests can enjoy the theme parks, resorts, and other wonderful offerings that make a complete Disney vacation. That being said, there are some factors that may limit the use of ECVs or scooters on watercraft.

The official guidance from Accessibility Services is to speak with the Cast Member at the dock about your needs. Water levels and weather conditions play a role in access to the boat, but I can tell you that I have seen ECVs on the Sassagoula River Cruise watercraft in the past.

The water route between Disney Springs and Disney's Port Orleans Resort is one of the most beautiful and interesting on property. I love passing by the Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort while I enjoy a Dole Whip from Swirls on the Water. If I can hold out on a snack until I arrive at Port Orleans, I'm certainly grabbing an order of the soft and fluffy beignets from Scat Cat's Club - Cafe.

I hope this information helps you travel from your home away from home at Port Orleans to Disney Springs and back, Ashley! Cast Members are ready and willing to assist if you have questions, and you can ask at the resort boat launch or speak with someone at the front desk. Best wishes for an enchanting vacation!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
