Welcome to planDisney, Andrea! Thanks for stopping by with your groovy question about Pop Century Resort. With its vibrant and larger-than-life decor, this is probably my family’s favorite value resort.
Pop Century and
Art of Animation (which is located right across the lake) do not have a water taxi, but there are a few different transportation options available to guests. Complimentary
bus service can be used to get from Pop Century to the Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. You also have the option of the
Skyliner system, which connects Pop Century to Caribbean Beach Resort, Riviera Resort, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.
If you’re not sure which option is best, then you can get directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app map. Just go to the map (the pin icon along the bottom of the screen), select your end destination, and tap “Get Directions.” Not only will the app give you directions and travel times, but it will also show you which Disney transportation options are available based on where you are and where you are trying to go.
If you’re looking for a more direct travel option, then I’d suggest looking at
Minnie Vans, a service available through the Lyft ride share app. Using the Lyft app, you can order a polka-dotted vehicle to take you to almost any location in Walt Disney World. These vehicles are driven by Cast Members, and there are accessible Minnie Van services and car seats for those that need them.
Andrea, I hope this information helps you find your way around Walt Disney World. Feel free to come back with any other questions you may have as you plan your magical vacation. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
