    Are both water parks open throughout October 2022

    Hi Francesca, and welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you stopped by with your question today!

    Your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the river bend, how exciting! Fortunately, the weather at Walt Disney World in October is still great for lounging at the pool, and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will still be open for a splashing good time! I checked the calendar for Typhoon Lagoon Francesca, and as of now, it will be open through Saturday, October 29th. Keep in mind the dates are subject to change. At this time, Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is still closed. 

    While you are soaking up the sun and having fun at Typhoon Lagoon, make sure to stop by Happy Landings Ice Cream, and enjoy a Sand Pail ice cream treat! If you are a DOLE Whip fan, stop by Snack Shack and enjoy one with or without rum! Finally, if you are a fan of thrill rides, don't forget to hop on the Crush 'n' Gusher!
