Shelia,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
As you may know, Walt Disney World has two amazing water parks,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Disney typically operates the parks so that at least one is open at any time of the year. During colder months they may have only 1 open, so that the other can get some refurbishments accomplished. But yes, you should have a water park open to you during a November visit.
As it happens, Blizzard Beach is currently going through a more in-depth refurbishment than usual, which just means that when it reopens it will be even better than before. But Typhoon Lagoon is open and running, so it is likely that it will be your destination. I was just there this spring, and it looks ship-shape!
BONUS TIPIf you would like to plus up your water park visit, I strongly recommend you consider booking either a
Beachcomber Shack or make a Typhoon Lagoon
Umbrella reservation. In both cases you get a "home base" where you can keep your belongings and give your family a place to meet up. In the case of the Beachcomber shacks, you also get a nice, secluded hideaway with incredible views of the wave pool, and an area for your family to connect and relax between activities. Just call (407) WDW-PLAY or
(407) 939-7529 to make a reservation.
BONUS TIP #2Make sure to watch our
planDisney podcast, presented by State Farm, that is tied to this answer. It is the first of the series, and it was shot at Typhoon Lagoon a few months ago. You may even recognize one of the folks being interviewed!
