I believe you are referring to the
Water Park Benefit promotion that Disney has offered the last couple of summers, which allowed guests to visit
Typhoon Lagoon or
Blizzard Beach free on the day of check-in at a hotel in the
Disney Resorts Collection.
Unfortunately, the 2026 promotion ends on September 8, which I believe is a month before your arrival.
If you still want to visit a water park, Blizzard Beach is scheduled to be open from 10 am to 5 pm daily during your visit. (Note that schedules are subject to change based on weather and other factors.) You can purchase a separate water park ticket. Or you may be able to upgrade your current tickets or package with the
Water Park and Sports add-on option or the Parkhopper Plus add-on option.
You can
purchase water park tickets online. To inquire about upgrading, call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line and speak to a cast member, or visit any Guest Relations location once you arrive at Walt Disney World.
I'm sorry your visit is too late for the free water park promotion, but you'll still find so many exciting things to do at Walt Disney World in October. I'm especially psyched about the 30th edition of the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, which will feature 30 favorite food items from throughout the festival's history.
