I am going to the water parks with my family but can't do a lot of walking. Do they have the scooters at the water parks? And what is the difference between a standard room and a preferred room?

Hi Peggy! Congratulations on heading to the water parks with your family. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are appealing to people of all ages and a welcome respite from the summer heat! Although wheelchairs and scooters are welcome at both water parks, unfortunately neither can be rented at either water park. You would need to rent from an off site w/c or scooter company in order to use them at the water parks. With respect to room rates, preferred rooms are usually those rooms which have easier access to the food courts, main lobby, parking area or buses, main themed pool and are located centrally to all of these. Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation! -Malanie

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
