Hi there, Tara, and welcome to planDisney!
A visit to the
Disney Water Parks is a fun add-on to any vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. The thrilling slides, the family-friendly rides, and the relaxing tides will be hard to pass up. Because I have fantastic news for you: Yes, the Disney Water Parks are open all year round (weather-permitting).
The kicker is that Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park are usually not open at the same time. When one closes at the end of its season, the other water park is open for business. Regardless of the scheduling, you will most likely have a chance to visit in the fall.
As of now, there hasn’t been an announcement about when Disney’s Blizzard Beach will reopen; however, based on previous years, I have a feeling that it will be the one open at the time of your visit. In 2022, it reopened on November 13, and in 2023, it reopened on November 6.
AN EXTRA GEM: The
Disney Parks Blog will break the news of the closing and reopening of the Disney Water Parks. So, keep an eye out for the news. You should also follow the
Disney Parks Instagram or Facebook page to really stay on top of any announcements.
I hope that this gives you a better idea for your vacation planning, Tara. Please let us know if you have any other questions before, during, or even after your adventure.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
