Hello Katy, and welcome to planDisney! Your magical vacation is right around the corner, how very exciting. Sounds like you'll also be adding a pixie-dusted splash of Disney Water Park fun to your adventures. Well done, you!
Although both water parks were open during the busy summer season, Blizzard Beach has recently closed for maintenance. I recommend keeping an eye on the
Park Operating calendar, where they post park hours around 60 days in advance. Your November dates will likely show up soon, giving you a more clear picture of what to expect when you're at Disney World. However, I would plan on
Typhoon Lagoon being the water park available during your stay.
You really can't go wrong with either of these terrifically themed Disney Water Parks. Disney has done a fabulous job of making sure each park has similar experiences available for guests to enjoy. At Typhoon Lagoon you'll find something for everyone... from the wild, 5-story drop Humunga Kowabunga for those with serious thrill issues, to the little dude's favorite Ketchakiddee Creek. And did you know that
Typhoon Lagoon's Surf Pool is the largest in North America? Coo-coo-cachoo!
I hope you'll be able to take advantage of the awesome benefit being offered to guests staying at a Disney Resort in 2025, of receiving
free admission to a water park on arrival day. This is such a terrific perk! In case you arrive before the official check in time, and your room is not ready... be prepared. Just pack your swimming things where they'll be easy to grab, and you can leave your bags with Bell Services. Taking Disney Transportation to the water park is encouraged, due to limited parking availability. In order to get to Typhoon Lagoon, hop on your resort bus to Disney Springs. Then at Disney Springs, you will transfer to the Typhoon Lagoon bus.
Katy, I hope this helps with your plans. Have an absolutely wonderful time at Walt Disney World, and enjoy every magical moment! Please feel free to send me any
questions at planDisney, I'd be happy to assist.
Surf's up... gimme some fin!
