Can water bottles be brought in to Disney parks?

    Hi Ann! Welcome to planDisney!

You and your family must be getting so excited about heading down to Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of days! Right now there is SO much to see and do around the Resort, especially if you plan on attending extra special holiday events like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.  Since you're arriving just after the Festival of the Holidays begins at EPCOT you'll be one of the very first Guests to experience the beautiful and moving Candlelight Processional that tells the story of Christmas.

You'll be happy to hEAR that all Guests are able to bring in personal water bottles to the four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, and the shopping, dining, and entertainment district of Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort.  While Guests are able to bring in their own food and beverages to the Parks, it is important to note that according to Walt Disney World Property Rules glass containers (except in the case of baby food jars) and alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

You are welcome to bring a cooler for your drinks and snacks as long as it is no larger than 24" long 15" wide and 18" high.  Because loose ice is not permitted it's a great idea to bring reusable ice packs to keep your beverages cold throughout your sunny day in the Parks.

Enjoy every magical moment of your vacation, Ann!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
