We’ll be watching the 9:30 showing of Fantasmic on Oct. 29. HS closes at 9, and I read that the skyliner closes at 10:30. If we get on at the HS station before10:30, but get to Caribbean Beach station after 10:30, will we still be able to transfer to Pop?

    Hi Brandon,

Thanks for gliding over to planDisney with this great question. It sounds like your magical trip is fast approaching and a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort will put you in a prime location for plenty of fun. I've stayed here on two past visits and loved the retro vibes and being able to soar to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios on the Disney Skyliner. I think you'll love it too!

In my opinion, Fantsamic! is a fantastic way to end a day at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This 29-minute show is sure to dazzle and leave you feeling like you can conquer anything, just like Sorcerer Mickey during the performance. When the show ends, all guests will be directed toward the park exit where they can make their way to resort buses or the Skyliner station. In my experience, the Skyliner loads pretty quickly even if the line appears quite long. You should be sailing with plenty of time to transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort station and make your way back to Pop Century.

The Skyliner typically ceases operation 90 minutes after park closing each day, but in my experience, Cast Members will not leave guests stranded. As long as you don't plan to exit at Caribbean Beach and stop for an extended period, I'd venture to guess you won't run into any issues. If for some reason the Skyliner stops running, Cast Members should be able to assist with getting you where you need to go. I had a similar experience after a late dinner at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park last year and Cast Members at the bus lanes were happy to get us a bus back to our resort, long after they officially stopped running for the day.

I'll cross my fingers that you have no troubles, but a third-party rideshare is always a good backup option. I've relied on this after a few late-night visits to Jellyrolls on Disney's BoardWalk and found the fare to be reasonable.

I hope this was helpful, Brandon. If we can answer any further questions please come back and let us know.

Wishing you a most magical visit!
