    Is there a way to watch Wishes from the Contemporary if we are not staying there (we are staying somewhere else more affordable on property) and do not have reservations at any of the restaurants? If this is allowed, is the soundtrack audible? Thanks!

    Hey Dara!

    I have a practically perfect location for you to watch Wishes nighttime spectacular.

    Even without a reservation, any Disney guests can ascend to the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort and sit in the bar at the California Grill (if there is available seating). We did this last year when we joined friends for a cocktail and to watch the show. The Wishes soundtrack is piped into this location making it extra MAGICAL.

    Another fantastic location my family loves to watch Wishes from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. No purchase in necessary. Just pull up a lounge change and enjoy the show. Although, I highly recommend getting a world-famous Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai to eat while you wait.
