    Is it too much to watch spectro then hop the monorail to contemp. and watch wishes from California Grill? Do I have enough time to make it to the top?

    Hi Heda,

    Even a veternan Magic Kingdom guest would need a lot of luck to make this one! The parade does start on Main Street which is where you will need to be to watch the parade and then head to the Contemporary.

    The parade lasts 20 minutes and then you must fight the crowds out the exit. I would then take the 10 minute walk to the Contemporary and the California Grill. The monorail will be packed and the path to the Contemporary is marked well.

    To view the fireworks, you will need an advance dining reservation at the California Grill. You will also need to have business casual attire as it is a signature restaurant. Finally, you check in on the second floor and then you move upstairs when your table is ready. You could be waiting on two versus seeing the fireworks from the restaurant.

    While I love the fireworks at the California Grill with the music piping in, I stil like being at the Magic Kingdom.
