Welcome to planDisney Gena! Thanks for reaching out with your great question. I'm excited to help you! How wonderful that you're planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort! You’re sure to create some amazing memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I think it's safe to say that watching the
Happily Ever After fireworks is one of the best parts of visiting Magic Kingdom Park and absolutely, you can watch the 8 PM fireworks and still make it to your 8:35 PM dinner reservation at
Cinderella’s Royal Table.
While the fireworks are spectacular from just about anywhere in Magic Kingdom, the best viewing spot for many is directly in front of Cinderella's Castle. However, this location can make it challenging to navigate through post fireworks crowds to get to your dinner reservation on time. To ensure you enjoy the fireworks and make it to your reservation without stress, I recommend watching the show from a spot near the entrance to Cinderella’s Royal Table, which is located at the back of the castle. This spot still provides a magical view of the fireworks, as they are designed to be enjoyed from all around the park.
My suggestion would be to arrive early to secure a spot. Head to a viewing area near the back of the castle around 20–30 minutes before the fireworks begin. A great viewing area is right by Prince Charming's Regal Carousel. Once the fireworks conclude (typically about 20 minutes after starting), you’ll be just steps away from Cinderella’s Royal Table entrance, avoiding a majority of the crowds.
Viewing the fireworks from behind the castle still ensures you have a great view and plenty of time to check in for your dining reservation, so you can enjoy the royal treatment without a rush!
Gena, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
