Welcome to the Moms Panel, Sondra!
As one of the DCL Moms, I'm so excited to help you plan a magical voyage for you & your son! I checked
DisneyCruise.com for December 2012 sailings and found some amazing Disney Dream itineraries. If you would like to be on the ship on Christmas, the 5-Night Bahamian Holiday Cruise sets sail on December 23rd and spends one day at sea, a day in Nassau and two consecutive day on Disney's elusive private island,
Castaway Cay. The Disney ships are decorated from bow to stern with special holiday activities planned. The other option is a 5-Night New Year's Cruise also on the Disney Dream setting sail on December 28th. Either cruise would make for an unforgettable holiday for you and your son.
The
Disney Dream is a floating wonderland for children and adults! Your son will have a blast in the Oceaneer Club and Lab while you enjoy a relaxing massage or lounging by the Quiet Cove Pool. When the ship is in port, Disney Cruise Line offers a wide range of
Port Adventures. When navigating through the website, Disney gives you the option to filter through the choices by activity type, level and age range. Depending on your interests, you may want to mix up your adventures choosing a splashtacular excursion on one island and a sightseeing tour on another. But, if your son loves the water, you may want to go splashtacular all the way! A thrilling time awaits you on the spectacular cruise ship!
If you have any further questions, I'm here to help!
