    We are wanting to take a trip and is new @ this. There will be 2-A and 3-C all under age 8. We are trying to figure out what is best for budget, and still have a wonderful trip. We plan staying 7days and 6nights. Should we go through a travel agent?

    Natasha,

    I think that a travel agent can be a great way for you to stay on your budget and at the same time get the most out of your money. But you have to be careful. You really need to be sure of two things when you pick your agent;

    1. They should be a no-fee agency. That means you pay the same as if you booked through Disney. How do they make money? Disney pays them!
    2. They should be a Disney Authorized Travel Agent. That means they know what they are talking about.

    But why not just book directly? Well, you can. But an agent can help you by checking for all available discounts and deals, book your dining and other reservations, and make room recommendations based on what your family really needs.

    And of course you can still use the Disney Moms Panel! We can help fill in the gaps with advice on where to eat, what special experiences we like the best, which resorts we prefer, etc.

    So write me back with some of those questions, and go get yourself a Disney Authorized Travel agent!

    Have a magical vacation!
