We are wanting a table service meal one night at the World Showcase. We have 7 people from 8 - 70 and are up for a little adventure (not over the top). Any suggestions? We have eaten in Italy and would like to try something new.

I have two suggestions for "a little adventure" at the World Showcase.

First is Teppan Edo in the Japan pavilion. This is a hibachi-style meal with a cooking surface right in the middle of your table. I dined there a few weeks ago with a party of 7 (ages 8 to 60+). The tables all seat up to 8 people, so groups of 7 are almost always given there own table and their own chef, which is nice. Our chef was very accommodating, asking us if we had any allergies or food preferences. He was also a great comic entertainer. He had lots of jokes and cute tricks with the food he was cooking. My kids loved when he made a smoking volcano out of an onion. In addition to being great fun, Teppan Edo also has some of my favorite food at Epcot. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious.

My second suggestion is the Restaurant Marrakesh in the Morocco pavilion. The food here is wonderful, lots of kebabs and cous cous, exotic but not too much so. My children LOVE the lemon chicken dish. The entertainment here is the big draw. Several times during both the lunch and dinner services, traditional Moroccan musicians will play for the diners. I enjoy hearing the music of other cultures, so that's a real treat. But the best part is the belly dancer that often entertains with the band. In addition to being mesmerizing to watch, the belly dancer will invite audience members to dance with her and will give a little belly dancing lesson. In our party, the only one brave enough to do this was my normally-shy 8 year-old daughter. I have great photos of her in her Mickey T-shirt trying to sway her hips with the costumed dancer. Lots of fun!

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other ideas.
