Hi Charli,
As Ellie from Disney's
UP knows, "Adventure is out there," and I'm so happy to hear that you're already dreaming about your Disney adventure for the fall of 2022! The earlier you start planning, the more familiar you'll become with the different aspects of a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation and the more at home you'll feel once you pass through those magical welcome gates!
While it's too early to book your travel -
vacation packages usually become available sometime during the summer before the year of travel, so hopefully June of 2021 for you - it's definitely not too early to start making plans! I'd encourage you to start looking into the variety of
Disney Resort hotels to see which ones seem to best fit your style and budget, researching the various
attractions that the thrill-seekers (and not-so-thrilling-seekers!) in your group will love, and dreaming about the delicious
dining options you'll enjoy. You'll also find some helpful and fun
videos that my fellow planDisney panelists have put together to help turn your Disney dreams into reality. Don't forget to
include your family members in all your dreaming and planning, too! When you build a trip that incorporates all of your Mouseketeers' must-dos, you'll head home with a heart FULL of magical memories to cherish for a lifetime!
Now, a few other practical trip-planning tips...As you're trying to decide how many days worth of theme park tickets you'll need, this
ticket guide is an excellent resource. Of course, in addition to valid theme park tickets, all Guests also need
Disney Park Pass reservations, so don't forget to book those as soon as your tickets are purchased! I'd also encourage you to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. While you'll use it more and more the closer your trip becomes, it's a wonderful tool for all things Disney-planning!
I hope this helps get you started, Charli. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for announcements about 2022 bookings, and please know that we're always here and happy to help. We'd love nothing more than to help you experience a Disney vacation that's practically perfect in every way, so come back and see us again at planDisney with any other questions! Happy planning!
