Hi, Teresa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
While traveling with the family is an awesome way to experience a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there is nothing quite like a solo trip! I've had the fortune of visiting both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort on my own, and it's a weird and wonderful feeling to be able to do what you want when you want with no one else to answer to!
With Walt Disney World Resort's new date-based ticket system, it's easier than ever to see exactly how much your cost per day will be at various points during the year. Simply visit the
Tickets Guide online to plug in the number of days you'd like to visit to see which options might be best for you. You also might want to scroll down to page to the "Seasonal Events Throughout the Parks" section to see if you might want to coordinate your visit with something like the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival or the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. (I have an annual tradition to attend the Food and Wine Festival with my best friend, and my husband I started a new kid-free tradition this year to attend the Festival of the Arts together. Both are amazing!)
Make sure you check out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to see if there's something there that might work for your visit, too! If you want to take advantage of one of Disney's Dining Plan options, you'll need to book a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room and ticket package, but there are lots of options for that, too. If searching for everything online seems a little daunting, feel free to reach out to the Disney Reservation Center to talk to a knowledgeable Cast Member who will be more than happy to help you narrow down your options.
Best of luck to you, Teresa, and I hope we'll see you real soon!
Amy
