We are wanting to do the repositioning cruise through Panama in May. How do the transfers to and from port work as we will be at two different ports leaving and arriving? What is the cost? Just wondering if this is the way to go or not? Thanks..

Welcome back, Wanda! I want to take a Panama Canal cruise with Disney too! That is one itinerary that I've not yet been fortunate enough to experience, and it's high on my list of "must-do's"! I'm excited to hear that you may be booking this amazing experience for yourself!

Since this cruise is a repositioning cruise from Miami to San Diego, you won't be returning to the same port, which could make hotels and transfers a bit tricky. But, of course, in true Disney fashion, Disney Cruise Line has you covered. They offer transfers from the Miami International Airport or one of their Miami partner resorts to the Port of Miami as well as transfers from the Port of San Diego to one of their partner hotels or the San Diego airport. The cost of the transfers is $38 round trip. That is a bargain when you consider it includes both ends of the trip, and when you let Disney take care of the details, it makes your planning so much easier!

Now, if you plan to stay a night before you sail in Miami or a night after you sail in San Diego, they have you covered too. Disney Cruise Line partners with the Conrad Miami Hotel and the Marriott Stanton on South Beach. In San Diego they partner with the Manchester Grand Hyatt. So, you can rest assured that you'll be in a spot with other Disney cruisers who are ready to set sail with you. These transfers and hotels can be added to your existing cruise reservation by calling the agents at Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532.

I hope those details help as you continue to plan your Panama Canal cruise, Wanda! Let me know if you have other questions as you continue to plan! I'm happy to help!
