I am wanting to purchase a 1-day pass from the UK, is this possible?

    Hello there, Bethany!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us this question today. I'm excited you're hoping to visit Walt Disney World Resort next month. September is one of my favorite times of year as the summer heat and crows begin to scale back and both Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival are in full swing. There's always a new thrill to experience, I can't help but keep coming back for more year after year!

While you could spend a week and still not experience every magical detail, I understand that sometimes just one pixie-dusted day best fits into your travel plans. At this time UK Residents only have the option to pre-purchase 7 or 14-day tickets, but you should be able to purchase a single-day ticket once you've arrived in the US. I'd recommend purchasing via the US website or the My Disney Experience App as soon as you arrive stateside since you'll also need to make a theme park reservation in order to enter the parks. I took a look ahead at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and see that all parks are currently available for your desired date, but this is always subject to change.

If Walt Disney World is your first destination you can purchase a standard 1-day ticket when you arrive at your preferred park or at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You can also purchase a 1-day Park Hopper Option ticket if you'd like to really maximize the magic. My son and I recently completed a 4-park 1-day challenge and had an amazing time racing from park to park and taking advantage of all the complimentary transportation between them. Our favorite is the Disney Skyliner, but you can't go wrong with a classic Monorail ride between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park either. Suffice it to say we drifted off to Neverland and slept like rocks after successfully completing our challenge.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to offer another ticket solution but I'm wishing you a most magical visit. Please stop back and see us again with any additional planning questions. We're always glad to help.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
