Hi, I am wanting to plan a vacation for the week of Thanksgiving. There are 2 adults and 3 kids, ages 9, 7 and 4. What are my options on staying somewhere that includes meal plan, tickets, etc that won't break my pocketbook?

    Hi Marenda,

Thanksgiving is a very busy time at the Walt Disney World Resorts. With US schools being on holiday and the start of the holiday season, the parks will be busy and expensive.

Because you are a family of five, you have different options. The least expensive option is going to be at a Value or Moderate Resort. The family suites at All Star Music or the rooms at Port Orleans Riverside offer great options for you.

As for dining plans, the Quick Service is the least expensive option but you will not have a sit down meal. If you would like a sit down meal instead of all counter service, you can upgrade to the basic dining plan.

The ticket prices are the same no matter where you stay.

I would look to book your vacation now as reservations for dining during this week will be filling up quickly as well as the rooming options.

If you could go a week earlier or later, you could save some money.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
