Hello, I am wanting to know if I book the Standard room at the Disney All-Star Music resort if we are allowed to bring and use a small hot plate inside of the room. Our family is not big enough to need a family suit so we are looking at other options.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Free!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for your question! I am happy to help you begin planning a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, unfortunately, cannot bring small appliances, such as hot plates, Crock-Pots, and InstaPots to use in their resort rooms. There are microwaves available in the Intermission Food Court at Disney's All-Star Music Resort for you to use, and the Family Suites offer a microwave too.

If having a stove-type appliance is a necessity, consider upgrading to a Deluxe Villa in one of the Deluxe-tier Disney Resort hotels. Here is a list of resorts offering a stove in their rooms:

    • The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Riviera Resort
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Beach Club Villas
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's BoardWalk Villas
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas-Kidani Village
    • 1 Bedroom Villa at Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort would be my choice! These brand-new cabins sleep up to six adults, come equipped with a full kitchen, and have the cutest bunk bed area for Mouseketeers! The Cabins area of Fort Wilderness will begin welcoming Guests on September 27th, 2024. What's great about staying at Fort Wilderness is that you are a boat ride away from Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, and features so many fun activities for the whole family, including horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, and archery!

Free, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and if you need additional pixie dust for planning your vacation, send me questions at any time. You've got a friend in me!
