Hello, we are wanting to go to Disney world end of October and our baby will be 10 months in a October. What are the best deluxe hotels? We want a hotel close to magic kingdom but would love the flexibility to be able to go to another park?

    Hi Tim!

How exciting that you are going to Walt Disney World this October!

You are going to get so much joy seeing your little one experience the magic of Disney. I remember seeing my son's eyes light up when he met Mickey Mouse for the first time at Chef Mickey's; it still brings tears to my eyes. Speaking of Chef Mickey's, this restaurant is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, which I think is a great choice for your family! This deluxe resort is extremely close to Disney's Magic Kingdom; you can even walk there! You will also be located near the Tickets and Transportation Center where you can take a monorail to EPCOT. You can take the complimentary bus transportation to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney's Grand Floridian and Polynesian Resort Hotels are also located along the monorail line for Disney's Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.

I personally love Disney's Beach Club Resort, which is located at Disney's Boardwalk, which is within walking distance of the International Gateway entrance at EPCOT. You can also walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios from this resort. However, this resort is a bit further away from Magic Kingdom.

Make sure to check out the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones guide for tips on taking your little one to Disney. Definitely plan on riding Dumbo, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and "it's a small world"!

    Magically,
    Stacy
