If I am wanting to make dining reservations for June 18th and the online window for those reservations opens on April 19th, what TIME does it open? Is it midnight? 6:00 am?

Hello there, Deanna! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my family’s personal favorite parts of our vacations! There are so many different options available that range from quick counter service meals all the way to elegant signature dishes. Additionally, the majority of dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort are also able to accommodate special diets and food allergies. During each of our trips, we make it a personal goal to eat at as many different restaurants as possible so we can experience as many unique dishes as possible!

One of the best ways to guarantee entry to the various table service dining locations is to book an advanced dining reservation! Guests are able to begin making advanced dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. If you are staying with the Disney Resort Collection, you will be able to make your reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of your stay.

Typically, you will be able to begin making your reservations each day at approximately 5:45 am Eastern Standard Time. If you are outside of the Eastern Standard Time Zone, it’s important to keep these time differences in mind as those few hours can mean the difference between snagging a popular reservation or not!

I highly recommend setting an alarm for approximately 20 minutes before the reservation window opens. This will give you time to grab some caffeine and log into your My Disney Experience account. You may also want to make a list of all the dining locations you would like to make reservations at so you can make your reservations more efficiently!

Best of luck grabbing all of your “must-dos” for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
