Ahoy, Tara!
This is a tough decision because both sailings provide an extra sprinkling of pixie dust, but the good news is that you really can't go wrong with either choice.
On both sailings, you'll find the ship decked out with festive decor. A holiday-themed tree will adorn the Atrium Lobby-a transforming Pumpkin Tree on the
Halloween on the High Seas Cruise and a dazzling 24-foot tall Christmas tree on the Very Merrytime Sailings. Halloween and Christmas crafts and activities will be offered for Guests of all ages, which make great keepsakes (I still have some my sailors created while onboard!).
I think the highlight of our Halloween Cruise was Mickey's Mouse-querade Party. We all dressed up, played games with the cruise staff and had an absolute ball trick-or-treating around the Lobby Atrium. The Characters were dressed in their adorable costumes, and we had our picture made with all of them! I know your princess will love experiencing a Halloween party at sea!
Very Merrytime Cruises offer lots of holiday fun including the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday Party (think candy-cane limbo with your favorite Disney Pals!), Gingerbread House Making, visits with Santa Claus and Storytime with Mrs. Claus. It's hard to choose a favorite event on this sailing, so I picked two: Mickey's Tree Lightning Magic and Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball. I know your daughter will love both of these special events especially if she's a Frozen fan! Another highlight was meeting with the Characters in their holiday attire and having our picture made in front of the life-sized gingerbread house (and it smells heavenly too!).
Good luck with your decision, Tara! My best advice is to choose which date works best for your crew and book your next cruise onboard for the other holiday sailing!
