    Wanting to bring my niece using the socal resident deal! She is 17 does not have a photo I.D and does onl school so no School I.D either I am concerned that since 17 and 18 look so similar they may require an I.D for her when we get to the park.

    How wonderful of you to bring your niece along with you to the Happiest Place on Earth! I'm sure she will thoroughly enjoy her visit with you and you'll be considered a cool aunt, like Aunt Cass from Big Hero 6!

    The Special Southern California Resident Ticket deal is a great way to save money while purchasing a ticket to the Disneyland Resort. You get a three-day, one-park per day ticket that may be used on non-consecutive weekdays through May 25, 2023. It is only eligible for Southern California residents living within zip codes 90000-93599 but you may purchase up to five tickets per day with a valid ID. 

    I relayed your concern about your niece to a Cast Member and they reassured me that minors are not required to show ID when activating their ticket. So just let them know that your niece is 17 years old and they should allow her entry without having to show valid ID. Of course, adults in the party will need to show a government issued photo ID. 

    I hope that you and your niece have the BEST TIME EVER at the Disneyland Resort! There's so much going on this year with the Disney100 Celebration. Mickey's Toontown is set to re-open very soon and a couple of my planDisney pals are going to be featured on a planDisney podcast about the premiere, so be sure to tune in! The new nighttime spectaculars are a sight to behold and I think Wondrous Journeys has become one of my favorite shows. Also, Big Hero 6 fans will be able to look forward to the transformation of the Pacific Wharf area of Disney California Adventure into San Fransokyo Square!
