i am wanting to book a week at wilderness lodge from may 27th to june 2nd, and my question is, do u think its going to be really crowded then and really HOT? we normaly go in october and love that but wanted to try to go when school gets out for the summer

    Hi Rachel,

I was at Walt Disney World this past Memorial Day weekend and it was not super hot as it would be in July and August.

As for the crowds, it was not the busiest I have seen but I have also answered a lot of questions this month about Memorial Day which I do not remember doing in the past. I know free dining is being offered so that could account for the increase in guests visiting. Remember this will start the beginning of the summer season and Star Wars weekends will be happening as well.

I would recommend planning your trip, making advance dining reservations and be prepared to not see everything. If your kids know you are going, ask them to pick some attractions to see so that everyone is happy.

    Have a magical vacation!
