I am wanting to attend fireworks at Hollywood Studios after an afternoon at Epcot. What’s the quickest transportation option between these two parks? Is leaving Epcot at 8pm sufficient for arriving at Hollywood Studios in time for 9pm fireworks?

Hi there, Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

That sounds like a wonderful evening of entertainment to me! Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot are actually incredibly close to one another! The International Gateway is the entrance to Epcot located behind the World Showcase. This entrance leads directly to Disney's Boardwalk area which is lined with shops, dining locations, and entertainment offerings. If you were to continue walking past Disney's Boardwalk, you would soon come across a walking path that leads directly to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This walk takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and is a wonderful way to travel between the two parks!

Another option would be to use the Water Transportation available at the International Gateway once you exit Epcot. Guests can board ferries and receive a ride to the various stops along Disney's Boardwalk area. Once the ferry has stopped at all of these locations, it will then make its way to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Due to the multiple stops along the way, the Water Transportation can take between 20 to 30 minutes to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios from Epcot.

Both transportation options should give you enough time to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios prior to 9:00 pm if you leave Epcot by 8:00 pm! Ultimately, which form of transportation you take is dependent on personal preference as both take approximately the same amount of time.

I hope this information will assist you as you continue to plan for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
