Hello, Kim, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for visiting the Panel with another question.
Congratulations on your new puppy! We have two rescued dogs in our family, both named after Disney characters:
Fergus and
Penny. I'm happy to let you know that four
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are part of the
Dog-Friendly Disney Resort Hotel Pilot Program at Walt Disney World Resort.
The rooms at these Resort hotels have easy access to outdoor walkways for exercise and to green spaces with pet relief areas. All dogs are expected to be well-behaved, on a leash in any public areas, and must be properly vaccinated. According to disneyworld.com, "While certain floors or sections of these Disney Resort hotels are designated as dog-friendly, the majority of areas remain canine-free to protect Guests with allergies." For more information about the Dog-Friendly Disney Resort Hotel Pilot Program, call (407) 934-7639.
Did you know that
Walt Disney World Resort also has a special resort just for pets?
