i wanted to take my two year old to the backyear BBQ - is it appropriate for him or is there a program better suited towards his age - thanks :)

    Rachel,

I took my youngest daughter to Mickey's Backyard BBQ when she was two. The food, by the way, was really great.

Now many people had kids her age there, and they were having a ball. But for me, I wish I had waited another year or two. The crowded dance mobs of kids around the characters got a bit crazed. Nobody was particularly rude or dangerous, but I could tell that my Annie, never the skittish one, was a bit unnerved by all the bumping and jostling. Frankly, my then 4 year old Abby was a bit bothered by it as well.

If I were to choose, I would go for either the Hoop Dee Doo Review or Chef Mickey's instead. Choose the Review if the fun western theme and entertainment ambiance was the draw, or choose Chef Mickey's if you were really excited about the character interaction!

    Have a magical vacation!
