I wanted to stay 3 nights at disney but the only way to do this was to book 2 nights at one resort and 1 night at another. does the shuttle go between resorts, so we can check out and drop our bags at the second location before we go to the park?

    Hi Erin!

How exciting that you are visiting Walt Disney World in 11 days! I bet you are getting so excited to experience the most magical place on earth! While you are here, make sure to check out the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary celebration! You will find golden statues, special treats, and wonderful fireworks shows. When you are at Disney's Magic Kingdom, make sure to check out Casey's Corner for their 50th Celebration Hot Dog

I love resort hopping, as it allows me to enjoy the wonderful and unique experiences at the different Walt Disney World Resorts. In regard to Walt Disney World Resort Transportation, you have a few options.

The easiest option is to take an Uber or Lyft from one resort to another. While the Minnie Van service is returning, it is coming this summer, which will be after your visit. However, you can arrange for an Uber to pick you up and bring your bags to your new resort. Don't worry if you arrive prior to check-in, as Bell Services will hold your bags for you until your room is ready.

If you packed light, one option would be to take the Walt Disney World bus transportation to the Tickets and Transportation Center from your resort. You can then board a bus to any of the Walt Disney World Resorts. The downside to this option is you would have to transfer your bags from bus to bus and that could get cumbersome.

If you are staying at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or Disney's Polynesian Resort, you can take the monorail from resort to resort. You can also take the monorail to the Tickets and Transportation Center and then hop on a bus to your new resort.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
