I wanted my son to have his first hair cut at WDW. He is 6 months now and will be 11 months. As of now he doesn't have enough hair, but it's growing fast so he might when we go. How fast do they book up or is it possible to get in while I'm there?

Hi Amelia!  First haircuts are always special, but the fine Cast Members at the Harmony Barber Shop know how to make them magical.   All three of my children have received their first haircuts at this special spot on Main Street USA.  I suggest you book a reservation for your son up to 180 days before arrival by calling (407) WDW-PLAY, or (407) 939-7529.  If you find your son's hair is not long enough to be cut by the time your trip comes around, you can cancel your appointment up to one day prior to your reservation without a charge.   Walk-ins are always welcome at Harmony Barber Shop and your wait just depends on how busy it is.  My husband waited about thirty minutes last week when he stopped by for a haircut without an appointment.

I hope you have an amazing vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort with your little prince.  If you have any other questions about traveling with infants just let me know.  I love to help fellow Disney-loving moms.

    Have a Harmonious Day,

    ~Jen
