Ahoy, Jill!
Welcome aboard, planDisney! It sounds like you have a magical voyage to look forward to later this summer with
Disney Cruise Line. Captains Mickey and Minnie can't wait to see you for an adventure on the high seas. If it's eating unlimited soft-serve ice cream, watching a movie under the stars on the pool deck, or winning 80s music trivia, there is so much to be excited about on your embarkation day.
Jill, I love your idea to send a postcard from your cruise destination. It's always fun to have something to look forward to once you arrive home, and it will be a memorable keepsake to include among your souvenirs. I double-checked with Disney Cruise Line about purchasing postage while on a cruise. They confirmed you can visit
Guest Services on board to purchase stamps from the countries you are visiting, and they will also help mail them for you if needed. If your sailing includes
Disney Castaway Cay, there is a Post Office on the pier (if it's open the day you are visiting) or a mailbox on the island to drop the postcard in. Snail mail for the island can be slow, so be patient waiting for it in your mailbox. When you arrive in your
stateroom, there are Disney Cruise Line-themed postcards in the desk/vanity drawer that you can use, or ones you can purchase in the
merchandise shops.
I hope the next two months fly by, Jill, so it will be your turn to set sail on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Please sail back over to planDisney if you think of any other questions about your cruise. We are always happy to help.
Have a magical day,
Nancy
