I wanted to make reservations to eat at Ohana during the firework show Does anyone know what time this would be?

    Aloha Starla,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question today!  'Ohana is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Walt Disney World!  The atmosphere is so much fun for the whole family and the Bread Pudding à la mode with Bananas-Caramel Sauce for dessert is sooo good.

Your idea to make your reservation so that you can catch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular during your meal is a fantastic one.  You'll be able to see the fireworks from the windows.  Not every table has a great view, but you're welcome to get up and stand near a window if that's the case.  The lights are turned down low and the soundtrack for Wishes is piped in, so it's really a terrific way to experience the show if you're not in Magic Kingdom.

I see you'll be visiting in May 2015, and looking at the hours currently out there, it looks like Wishes is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m. nightly.  It usually takes my family about an hour and a half to dine at 'Ohana, so I'd recommend making your reservation no earlier than 8:45 p.m. to be sure you're there during the fireworks.  Also, hours and schedules do sometimes change, so just keep an eye on that link as your vacation dates get closer to be sure the time is still the same.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Starla!  Please visit us again if we can help answer any other questions.
