Hello! I wanted to know if MK is going to be decorates with halloween or christmas stuff, during the week from october 30th to november 6? I’m going to Orlando during those days, and i’d loved to see the park decorated!

Hello there, Michelle! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

The holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are my absolute favorite time to visit with my own family! Whether it is during fall with all of the not-so-spooky Halloween decorations or in the winter with the wonderful Christmas dressings all around, it is so much fun to see all of the amazing ways the holidays are celebrated at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

You will be happy to know that, typically, you are able to see a bit of both Halloween and Christmas decorations during the last week of October and the first week of November! In fact, the Magic Kingdom undergoes a breathtaking transformation overnight on October 31st after the last Guest leaves the park. From this point until morning, Cast Members are hard at work taking down all of the fall-themed decorations and replacing them with new decor for the winter season. There is actually a really neat video on the Disney Parks Blog that shows a time-lapsed version of this transformation if you are interested in watching such things firsthand!

If you haven’t already done so, you may want to look over some of the special offerings taking place during the fall and winter seasons at Walt Disney World Resort! There are always fun, limited-time events or experiences that take place during specific parts of the year so it is a great idea to figure out which of those you and your family may be interested in. You may also want to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog website for this reason! Here, you will find the most up-to-date information regarding unique happenings at Walt Disney World Resort including special merchandise, delicious dishes, and much more!

Best of luck as you continue to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort this October! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you!
