Hi, I wanted to know if there are ironing boards and irons in the staterooms on the cruise ships, I read somewhere that traveling irons are not allowed. Is this true?

    Ahoy Daphne!
Thanks for writing back!  For safety reasons irons are not allowed in the staterooms. So leave the travel iron at home because Disney Cruise Line has you covered with seven laundry rooms onboard.  These are all self-service and include irons and ironing boards free of charge.  If you would like to do a load of laundry you can budget about $5.00 per load and detergent is also available if you forget to bring your own.  The facilities are located on Decks Two, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten.
It was great to hear from you again, Daphne!  Keep me posted if you think of any other cruise questions!
    Have a wonderful day!
