Ho-Ho-Ho Leandro,
Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you are off to
Walt Disney World Resort during the most magical time of the yEAR! The holiday season can be a perfect mix of pleasant temperatures, special entertainment options and amazing decorations. The theme parks and
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are all decked out in seasonal trimmings and holiday pixie dust.
One of the many special holiday festivities is
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special ticket event occurs on select evenings at
Magic Kingdom from early November until just before Christmas Day. While the official party hours are 7pm until midnight, Guests with party tickets are able to enter the theme park at 4pm. Not only are Guests able to enjoy most attractions with smaller crowds and typically shorter wait times, but the party offers a number of special events that are only offered during the party. This includes fun character interactions, holiday themed entertainment, a jolly stage show, as well as unlimited cookies and hot cocoa, festive fireworks, and a fantastic holiday parade complete with dancing reindeer and Santa Claus. Plus, through the wonders of Disney magic, it has even been known to snow on Main Street U.S.A.
While the party is definitely worth the extra cost,
tickets to the party are nonrefundable, nontransferable and cannot be resold. That does mean that if you were to purchase a ticket and not be able to attend the party, you would be out the cost. While I know that is not the answer you wanted, I would suggest double checking your schedule before purchasing the tickets to make sure you will be able to attend. You can also wait until closer to your arrival but I will caution on waiting too long. This event is extremely popular and tickets are limited. It is not unusual for most, if not all, parties to sell out well in advance.
I hope you are able to make one of the parties as we find it one of our absolute favorite events at Disney World. If I can help with any additional planning questions, I hope you will stop back and
see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
