Wanted to know if the Disney cruise does only sails? Meaning no island stops just ocean sailings?

    Ahoy there, Bindia!

Welcome aboard planDisney! This is a fantastic question, and as someone who loves spending time onboard the ships, I completely understand wanting to know if Disney offers any sailings that are focused entirely on life at sea.

Right now, the only Disney ship that is scheduled to offer sailings without any port stops is the Disney Adventure sailing from Singapore. Those itineraries are designed to be destination-free adventures where the ship itself is the star of the show. For the rest of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, itineraries currently include at least one port of call, barring unexpected weather, operational changes, or other circumstances.

If you're looking for the most sea days possible, I'd encourage you to take a look at Disney's transatlantic sailings. These voyages are typically 13- or 14-night adventures and often include long stretches at sea. It's about as close as you can get to living the life of Captain Jack Sparrow without having to worry about cursed treasure or mutinous pirates!

That said, if your goal is maximizing ship time, there's something else worth keeping in mind: you never have to leave the ship when it arrives in port. In fact, some Guests intentionally stay onboard during port days because many of the pools, lounges, and activities are noticeably less crowded while others are ashore exploring.

Since it looks like you may be from Florida, you'll find plenty of itineraries departing nearby that visit Disney's island destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. Both are incredible destinations and among my family's favorite port days. However, they can also create a unique opportunity to enjoy a quieter ship if your goal is maximizing onboard time. I will say, it is tough to recommend staying onboard during a visit to Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay. Those are two of my family's favorite destinations, and we always look forward to stepping ashore.

I hope this helps as you search for the perfect sailing! Whether you're spending your days exploring ports or relaxing onboard with an ocean view, Disney does a great job making the journey feel just as magical as the destinations.

Sea ya real soon as the days grow longer and the countdowns grow shorter,
