Tonya,It's not that the diner isn't any good. The food is yummy. It's just that the characters do not visit your table at dinner like they do at other meals.Have you considered lunch? We actually eat lunch there rather than breakfast ourselves. The food and characters are still great, without the hassle of fighting for that coveted breakfast reservation. It allows our family to have a much more relaxed meal, and since we're pretty laid back people that works out perfectly.
If you can't score a reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table, consider Akershus in Epcot. It's not in a castle, but it's still a princess meal and we really enjoy it.
Have a great vacation!
