Hi Jose,
Thanks for stopping by with this question today. I'm happy to help unlock all the information you need.
I'm glad to hear you're planning to renew your
Magic Key for another year of magical adventures at Disneyland Resort. I'm a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder and I've just loved the past few months of fun in the parks and have really enjoyed the discounts my pass offers too. You're smart to renew your current Magic Key before it expires since new sales are still paused at this time.
Though you can
renew your Magic Key in person at Guest Relations or at one of the ticket booths at the park entrance, the easiest way is to
renew online. Just confirm your current pass' expiration date in your
Disneyland App (found under the "Tickets and Passes" section) and as long as you are within 30 days prior to your pass' expiration you should have no trouble completing the transaction.
If you do decide to renew in person
blockout dates will still apply and any down payment you make will only apply to the balance of your Magic Key purchase. This transaction would be separate and unrelated to the purchase of any
standard theme park tickets, even if the dollar amount is the same. If you would like to visit during your Magic Key's blockout dates, you will have the option to purchase a 1-day or multi-day standard theme park ticket in addition to your Magic Key renewal. Keep in mind that
theme park reservations are required regardless of admission type and are always subject to availability.
I hope this clears up any confusion Jose. If you have additional questions about your specific Magic Key you can always
reach out to a Cast Member by phone for further assistance. Should you need any planning help in the meantime please don't hesitate to come right back here to planDisney and let us know.
Wishing you a magical year ahead!
Amy
